In 1999, he built his first woodworking shop; in 2003, he taught himself how to make pens, drawing from the rich heritage of woods from near and far.
In 2005, he moved to Montréal, where he established his current 40 square meters workshop. A few years later, in 2008, he acquired a laser engraving machine, which enabled him to further customize his products, all bearing his laser seal of quality.
In 2010, after discovering he had a passion for the crafting of artisanal jewellery, Richard Boucher enrolled in Montréal’s École de Joaillerie (School of Jewellery), where he had much success before receiving his diploma in 2012.
Thus, he was able to continue offering his growing range of ballpoint pens, fountain pens and other writing instruments while launching the small-scale making of one-off, limited edition jewellery.
Today, Richard Boucher is proud to offer his clients high quality products made from wood and metal that will suit all budgets. His booth has truly become a key attraction in craft shows.
Please note that the fountain pens and ball-point pens are available in any wood essence; the samples that are shown on the website are only examples of my work.
